Data deletion
You can remove your data from undercue at any time. This page describes the two paths — in-app removal and the Facebook-initiated data-deletion callback — and what each one deletes.
1. Remove your connected Facebook accounts from inside the app
The fastest way: log in to undercue, open Suite → Accounts, click Disconnect next to each connected Page. This:
- Deletes the encrypted Page access token from our database.
- Cancels every scheduled post tied to that Page.
- Removes the row from
social_accounts.
Disconnecting is immediate and irreversible. You can reconnect any time.
2. Request deletion from Facebook
Inside Facebook, you can remove undercue from your authorised apps and request deletion at the same time. The path is:
- Open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find undercue and click Remove.
- Check “Delete all posts, photos and videos that undercue has posted on your behalf”, then confirm.
When you do that, Facebook calls our Data Deletion Callback. We immediately delete every record tied to your Facebook user ID: connected Pages, their tokens, and any scheduled posts for those Pages. The callback returns a confirmation URL — you can paste it into a browser to verify deletion completed.
3. Delete your entire undercue account
If you want to remove your whole account (not just the Facebook integration), email hello@undercue.io from the address on your account. We delete the company, every workspace, every team member, every connected account, every post, and every related record within 7 days, and confirm by reply.
4. What we don't delete
Stripe billing records (invoices, payment receipts) and access logs are retained per legal/tax requirements, typically 7 years. These contain no Facebook-specific data. See our Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.
5. Questions
Email hello@undercue.io. We respond within 5 working days, usually within 1.
